April Morganroth

My name is April Morganroth. I am a Walter Cronkite Journalism senior at Arizona State University working on a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism minoring in Political Science. See my about me section for more details.

My personal journalism and photojournalism role models are Steve McCurry, Dorothea Lange, Nick Ut, Tim Hetherington, Ansel Adams and Richard Avedon. Journalist that I admire and aspire to be like are Catherine Anaya, Brad Gass, Ted Simmons, Nick Oza, Chris Rainer, Troy Hayden, and of course Walter Cronkite himself. In a nutshell I aspire to bring truth to every story I produce regardless of the media I am using. It's my passion to deliver news stories my audience can trust and depend on. I value myself at being a people person who can empathize with my sources to bring the best story to the news organization I work for.
